GENIVAR is Undertaking a LEED Gold Project for the Surrey Outpatient Facility in British Columbia
GENIVAR is already a recognized leader in LEED projects and will be adding a prestigious new project to its portfolio. The Fraser Health Authority has given GENIVAR an electrical engineering mandate aimed at LEED Gold certification. This four-storey 17.489 -sq.-metre facility is valued at over $140 million.
The facility will support a wide range of services including, diagnostics medical imaging, surgery and special procedures, laboratory services, daycare, outpatient and surgical clinics, chronic disease management clinics, a pharmacy, education facilities, and, adequate parking.
Construction began in August 2008 and is set for completion in March 2011.
